Our History

  The name Hinshaw has been well known for installing ceramic tile in our area and the surrounding areas as well. The original company "Hinshaw Tile Co" was formed by Colon D. Hinshaw in 1959 in Burlington NC. After the passing of Mr. Hinshaw in 1982, his son Gilmer and wife Debbie formed their own company "Hinshaw Tile Inc" in 1982.

They originally started their business with just the two of them, working out of their home in Elon NC. Being blessed over the years, they’ve since then moved to Air Park Dr in Burlington NC in 1995. Remembering the hard work and determination they gave in building their business, they’ve achieved a company that produces quality work and reliability you can depend on.

They’re still working today to keep the name "Hinshaw" known for ceramic tile installation, as the third generation is already in the work force.
